Interim and Summer Programs:

Westfield offers an intensive program for students who may not be able to remain in their current school during the academic year. In the Interim Placement Program (IPP) we can accept students at any time during the school year for a minimum of two weeks. Students who require a medical leave-of-absence, need metal health or psycho-educational evaluations, or require an extended break from their private or public school may benefit from the personal attention and support of our therapy staff and teaching faculty. Once accepted, these students can continue to receive credit and pursue their usual studies with us, before returning to their former placement, or finding alternate school arrangements.

The summer program functions much the same way as our regular school program for three half days per week.

Those students who need to complete their academic requirements for the year or who can use the extra support in preparation for the fall will be able to take full advantage of a full six week summer session and can earn school credit.

Those students with learning difficulties, test-taking or other school anxieties, or those who are just looking for extra help with SAT's or standardized tests can benefit from our preparatory class.

Our enrichment classes in language arts, health and wellness, and creative arts are productive means for students who need to maintain academic continuity through the summer.
